Day 8: Play “your” song

Do you and your spouse have a favorite song?

When was the last time you heard it? or danced to it?

One of the sweetest times I can remember is when I got home from work one day. Tom was standing in the kitchen listening to his mp3. He put one ear bud in my ear and then I heard it – he was playing our song.

We slow danced right there in the middle of the kitchen (our two little boys running around the rest of the house!) while listening to “What a difference a day makes” by Tony Bennett.

It was a very sweet and tender moment.

Has it been a long time since you had a romantic moment with your spouse?

Maybe you could steal a couple of minutes and slow dance to your song – right in the middle of the kids and chaos.
