Day 9: Savor the season

Fall is my absolute favorite season.

There’s so much to love:  crisp weather, sunny days, fresh apples, pumpkins, mums and the spectacular scenery God paints as the leaves change color. It’s sort of the last hurrah before winter comes and I just love it.

Here are some easy ways you can celebrate this beautiful season as a family:

  • take a drive and admire the beautiful fall color
  • rake some leaves and then have the kids jump into them (you, too!)
  • sit around a bonfire and reminisce
  • stay up late and stargaze on a clear night
  • pick apples at a local orchard
  • go for a walk or a bike ride as a family
  • have a picnic in the park (or your own backyard) and just enjoy the view
  • bake an apple or a pumpkin pie (store bought or homemade crust, either way is fine!)
What do you love best about fall?
