The 99-cent Clothing Sale

Good morning!

I thought that after yesterday’s deep, soul-baring post, I’d talk about something lighter and way more fun…frugal fashion.

For those of you in the area – run, don’t walk – to Second Impressions on Westnedge Ave.

All of their clothing is priced at 99-cents each, with the exception of their boutique (high-end designer finds).

I had two seven-year-olds in tow (not recommended); however, I was still able to find several things:

  • black beaded cardigan from Old Navy
  • cream V-neck sweater with subtle gold thread from Kohl’s
  • black V-neck wool sweater from Gap
  • sweet little green ruffled cardigan from Target (my fave find of the day)

  • gray-striped thermal tee from Gap
  • printed button down shirt from Apt 9 (Kohl’s)
  • gray tee with gathered sleeves from Gap

  • short-sleeved sweater from Attention (KMart)
  • low-rise boot cut khakis – always a classic

I walked out of there with 9 pieces of clothing, a $7 lamp begging for a makeover, a Rescue Heroes book and a toy motorcycle for $20.

Not. too. shabby.

I like to shop there because it is clean, they have nice things and great prices and all of the proceeds benefit the Kalamazoo Christian Schools.

Why are you still reading this….GO!
